Supplications (Du'a)

1.  A person is granted (what he asks for in his) supplications provided he does not ask for anything sinful or for breaking ties of relationship.
(Muslim).

2.  You have two characters which Allah likes; gentleness and deliberation.
(Muslim).

3.  Nothing but supplication alters (a person's) destiny, and nothing but righteousness increases life.
(Tirmidhi).
