Welcome to the IFNA Here you will
find educational resources and links on every subject of interest to
students. Allah has encouraged us to learn as much as we can and as
a good Muslim it is a requirement to always learn. Allah asked the
question in the Holy Qur'an: "Are those who know and those who don't
know equal?" Of course the answer is that those who know things are better! Prophet Ibrahim, may he be blessed, said a very beautiful prayer that we should all say often ourselves. He prayed to Allah: "My Lord! Advance me in knowledge." In Arabic you can say the Du'a this way: "Rabbi zidnee 'ilma" Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said that "Learning is a duty of every Muslim male and Muslim female." On another occasion he said, "Seek knowledge even if you have to go to China." In those days, China was so far away that it was impossible for most people to go there, so by saying this, the Prophet (p) was hinting that the search for learning and knowledge may take you to the ends of the Earth, but that it was worth it. In this spirit we have established the ever-growing and expanding resource section for students so your search for knowledge can be made easier. May your learning benefit you both in this life as well as in the next! Ameen. Let it be so.
