1.  The Beauty of the Righteous and the Ranks of the Elite.  By Imam Abu Na'im al-Asfahani.  Translated by M. Al-Akili.  Available from halalco.  An excellent anthology of accounts of different Sahaba.  Most of the material is as of yet not fully researched but it is a fascinating collection of source material nonetheless.

2.  Men Around the Messenger.  By Khalid Muhammad Khalid.  Available from IBTS and Halalco.  A compilation of accounts of different Sahaba.  The Sahaba are presented in a fresh light with many new details added.  The stories are exciting and inspiring.
